JAWESO at the Smart Country Convention 2026 – From Data Collection to the Digital City

From October 13 to 15, 2026, we were represented by JAWESO at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin.

The trade show brings together municipalities, government agencies, and companies working on the digital development of cities and regions. Accordingly, many discussions centered on very specific questions: How can street spaces and infrastructure be mapped today? What data sets are needed for digital city models? And how can this data later be used for planning, documentation, or other municipal tasks? This is exactly where our mobile mapping systems come in. They capture high-resolution image and LiDAR data, thereby creating an up-to-date digital foundation for various applications related to cities and infrastructure.
For us, the direct exchange of ideas was particularly exciting. Many of the conversations we had in Berlin are now continuing and we look forward to developing concrete projects together based on them.
